Meet the Magicians:
Doug Sparkes has plenty of experience, having performed in a variety of venues; from small group gatherings to large auditoriums. Regardless of the kind of show you're looking for, Doug has the skills to provide you and your guests a great and magical experience! Doug performs card tricks, coin effects, big stage illusions, and of course, mentalism. Plus, you can always count on Doug to bring his sense of humor into every show.
Doug offers three specialized performances: First, there is the always fun Uncle Dougie Show. In short, this is a fantastic magic birthday party! (Appropriate for ages 6 & up) Click here for more information.
Second, Doug offers a customized show for families or private gatherings, affectionately called, "An Evening with Mr. Sparkes". All magicians have a favorite expression of their art and Doug's specialty is mentalism, which is nothing less than magic of the mind. There are those who believe Doug must be psychic as he seems to have the uncanny ability for predicting the future, reading minds, and even controlling peoples decisions. Doug, on the other hand, does not claim to be psychic and so how he is able to perform these mental miracles is anybody's guess. "It's all about entertaining people." Doug states matter of factly. Third and finally, Doug wryly presents the dark side of magic with The Mysterious Omar. An evening with Omar Yram Brooks (aka Mr. Brooks) is not for everyone, but if you like things on the creepier side, the the DARK side, (as in séance & other things that will go bump in the dark) then you are encouraged to consider hiring Mr. Brooks for your next party or special gathering.
