Uncle Dougie shows typically last about an hour and start around $100. (Cost is determined by date, length of show, kids ages, travel distance and other factors). In many cases, Uncle Dougie will be assisted by one or more of his real nephews or nieces*.
Uncle Dougie understands this is your child's special day and so Uncle Dougie prides himself on tailoring the show around your child! This is one more reason why it is so important to book a show as far in advance as possible. Not only do we promise to make your child the star, we also promise a memorable experience. Uncle Dougie Shows are great shows for the whole family too (half the fun is amazing the adults as much as the children!)
Does your child want to be a magician?
If your answer is "yes" then contact us about our special offer to teach your child magic! With a little help and practice there is no reason why they can't be a MAGICIAN in their own birthday show! That's right! We'll meet with your child a few times before the scheduled performance. We'll not only teach him or her magic, but they will also perform high quality magic effects during the show! (As much as they want or can comfortably handle!)
Naturally, this is an added cost and other conditions apply (age, natural talent, time alloted to rehearse prior to performance, etc.). But, if your child really wants to be a magician we'll do our best to help them get started or to polish their natural skills.
*Including great nephews and great nieces, there are about 19 immediate family members who refer to Doug as Uncle Dougie (so the name Uncle Dougie is much more than just clever marketing!) And, if you add all the friends whose kids refer to Doug as Uncle Doug, well, let's just say there's a lot more than I can count on mutant toes or fingers!
